I would very much like to encourage ALL parents to take the (YPT) Youth Protection Training that is offered by the Boy Scouts of America.  It is imperative that all parents, whether you are a registered leader or not, follow the rules laid out in this course.  Some of the key points are below but I would like to get a copy of Every parents certificate by the end of May 2018.  YPT protects the Boys safety as well as keeping the Troop, the Boys, the Leaders and the Parents from liability for not following the governing rules of the BSA and our Troop.  It does not take long and will be very informative for you to understand how the interactions within the troop should work.

Upcoming Events for Winter 2017

Posted on Jan 12 2017 - 9:58pm
Jeff and I have planned some great outings planned over the coming months. The theme will be backpacking in preparation for a 10-15 mile hike in Noble Canyon in late March and a 20-30 miler on the PCT in the fall that can be applied towards the Backpacking Merit Badge. We also have Snow Sports Merit Badge day planned for March at Big Bear Ski Resort that the whole family can participate in at discounted rates for lift tickets, lessons and rentals.
